Are you talking about the bearing cap bolts or the preload bolts in the cover? Bearing cap bolts should be torqued to 60 foot pounds with oil on the threads and nothing else. The preload bolts torque to 5 foot pounds with sealer under the jamb nuts. The Auburn usually needs 2 bottles of additive to keep it from popping. Oil capacity depends on the size of the cover. They usually take almost 2 quarts with a stock cover. Some covers add about 1 quart to that. Be sure that you use the original fill plug in the housing to set the oil level and not the hole in the cover.
