Any pic of B&M-30299 Installed!!!

I have a th350 9" tailshaft and was wondering if anyone that installed this kit on there car could get me some Pics of it on the car.

From what I searched I will still be able to use the stock crossmember
with this kit.

Re: Any pic of B&M-30299 Installed!!!

I used that kit. I did not work with the stock crosmember. I had to mod my crossmember to make it work. After reading a couple other posts, your 9" tail may work with the stocker, but I can tell you the shorter 6" tail which I have will not work. But that kit has everything else you need though.

Thanks for the reply. Is there any way you could get pics of yours installed.
I also read a few post with different people saying the 9" tail shaft will work with the stock cross member with an adapter that comes with the kit. did you get some kind of adapter with your kit.

Re: Any pic of B&M-30299 Installed!!!

Its in storage right now, so no pics available until spring. My kit did not come with anything for the crossmember. I basically made a small thick bracket that extends from the stock hole for the mount stud out about an inch and a half with another hole. Works great so far.

the hurst kit doesn't have the crossmember piece, the B&M does and it works fine. I used it on an old buildup now i made a custom piece since i'm running a th400

Why would the tailhousing matter? The mount should be in the same location, only different driveshaft lengths right?

correct, i was just saying that i used a 9" tailshaft model because that was specifically the op's question. according to the dimensions on the tci website it doesn't matter whether its 6" or 9".

Re: Any pic of B&M-30299 Installed!!!

I feel a little ripped off, the b & m kit I had didnt have that crossmember piece. That would have made my life a little easier last year.

Re: Any pic of B&M-30299 Installed!!!

Thanks for the pic elano!!! It looks like there is lots of room to mod cross member for 3" dual exhaust. Im gonna buy this kit for sure, and now have plans to modify the cross member for true dual 3".
