3.73's or 4.10's

I am looking to upgrade my gears in the rear. I am currently running 3.23's and the car doesn't pick up until 3000-3500 rpm's(and it really picks up then). So i was looking into 4.10's until i started reading that ppl with 10 bolts breaking the 4.10's... and i am now looking into 3.73's. The car barely sees highway use and i just cruise around a lot around 50-60 mph which in 6th gear is pretty low(it doesn't like anything under 50 mph in 6th, no power) What do you think is a good gear for the car? The powerband is roughly about 3500-6500. Thanks a lot.

Re: 3.73's or 4.10's

4.10s are very popular with the 6 speed crowd

Re: 3.73's or 4.10's

I had 4.10's in 3 cars and they are great for a 6 speed.
they were fun in my 5 speed Formula but gas mileage sucked due to no extra over drive gear.
