Hey all... so i have a 92 rs with a 700r4 that I've never been working on... I've had it running for awhile now but have only driving about 6callie times in a year in a half. Reason being when i put my foot in it it wont shift to second till around 5500 rpm and thats cuz i let off a little... so i finally had time to take it to a tranny shop and have been told that it needs rebuilt and will cost $1400 - $1800 to get it done which i only paid $500 for her in the first place.

So i did some shopping on craigslist and found a 700r4 from a 91 2wd truck that is a shorttail for $150the that has 91,000 mile. So i need to know if this will work for sure.

Let me know if this will work and what i need to check before i buy it.
