Which install kit for 9 bolt?

I've been toying with the thought if putting 3.70's in my 9 bolt but when I look for install kits it seems like every one has different parts and variations and are anywhere from $120 or so to $300? What kit do you guys use and how much do they cost?

I used Randy's Ring & Pinion kit. It's got all of the parts you need and good shims.

Do you happen to have a part number? Or maybe a link? Seems like there are a lot of variations. I'd hate to buy the wrong kit.

Re: Which install kit for 9 bolt?

What series carrier do you have? If it is a 2, you'll need to find a series 3 somewhere, because the 3.70 won't be compatible with yours.

The best bet is to find out exactly what you have and what other internal pays need to be replaced. Then once you know exactly what monster you are dealing with, give randys a call. They are good folks with a great costumer service record, and they sell quality parts.

You can do that, or go to 9bolt.com and source your parts there. There is lots of good info on this site if you if you do a search here for the 9 bolt.
