Transmission fluid leak

I have an 1987 Camaro with a 700r4. I seem to be leaking trans fluid from the lines going in to the transmission. Any ideas/tips/tricks to tighten the lines without having to drop the entire transmission?

to do it right, you need some crows foot line wrenchs. the kind that go on a extension. without these ,theres no way to get them tight. you might go to sears, they have them in sets.

Re: Transmission fluid leak

Crows feet definitely are a must but you may also want to take off your cross member and lower the tranny a little, there is barely any room at all to get to those lines so it makes it a lot easier, just make sure you don't crush the dizzy cap when the motor pivots.
