reinstalling driveshaft; need to lubricate?
I pulled out my factory aluminum driveshaft to have it balanced for high speeds and new U-Joints installed. Before I install it, I want to make sure I can install the transmission end dry or should I lubricate it first? I've been told 'both'. Nitro-Nicky

i always lube the slip yoke with tranny fluid.
its also a good time to put a new seal in the tranny. they're super cheap.

Thanks guys. Everything was new four years ago. Finally able to start putting things back together. Thank God I always put the bolts back in their respective holes or I'd REALLY be in a: 'WTF?' right now...!
