how much does a shop charge to install a shift kit?

i was just wondering because i just got a trans-go shift kit for my 700r4 and i dont know if ill have the time or can do it...looked pretty swirly...just wondering if anyone has done it? how hard was it? or how much does a shop charge to install a shift kit

Installing a shift kit is not too difficult, you just have to be careful. From the looks of it, the Trans Go kit is VERY complete so I don't think htere will be any problem deciphering the instructions. It took me about 6 hrs to install mine. You just have to go step by step and not rush anything.

I am respectfully staying out of this one since people invariably do not consider the worth/cost of both experience and resposibility for this job unless they have done it and had a problem, THEN just about any price seems fair!

well i think i could do it after watching the video a few times but id feel better having it done unless its expensive...if it is pretty expensive to put in im doing it since i cant afford to get it installed
