Whats the Differential Gear Ratio in a stock 89 Camaro.

Well that engine is in my trans and I'm tring to find out These facts to get my spedometer working. Any Ideas on what ratio that is ?

I can't get my crystal ball to work right now, guess you'll have to pull the rear end cover off and see.(sure you can handle it if you changed the engine) I'll bet it's either a 3.08, 3.23, or 3.42.

You know the dude that I bought that engine from said he had put in a new motor. It looks like I'm might just have to pull the cover off.

Engine: 5.7 TPI in both
Transmission: W/C T-5 in both
Axle/Gears: B/W 3.27 in both

Classifieds Rating: (2)
basically 2 choices, either low output, 2.77 or high end (g92) 3.27.
