Car: 1989 IROC--1989 T/A Engine: 5.7 TPI in both Transmission: W/C T-5 in both Axle/Gears: B/W 3.27 in both | i believe "posi" and "carrier" are on and the same. In short i would just yank the carrier/posi out bolt on the ring gear and go. This is assuming you have problem with your 2.77, and have no intention of going to a bigger gear.
