What is a Non-Electric Tranny

Hey
Im putting a shift kit into my car tommorow.

the box says its for a non-electrick 700r4

What is a non electric, and what is an electric?

It can either be 1 of two things, not for a lockup converter or for a 93+ 4L60E. Since I doubt the lockup Tq converter would be any factor Im thinking it cant be used on a 4l60E.

Electric refers to the '93-up 4L60E and non electric is the '93-down 4L60 (700). There was some crossover in that year. By stating that you are installing a "Shift Kit" you are saying that it is made by TransGo. If it is not a Shift Kit then I would recommend sending it back.
