turbo 400!!!!!!!!!

hey folks

i was talking to one of my friends and he said he can get me a turbo 400 already rebuilt for $200

he said its out of a truck

would i need to get a different tailshaft for it

or is it the same size as a 700R4???

and what about the speedo drive cable

what kinda gear would i need to get for that to work?

i know i would also have to get the torque arm mounting kit from jegs..............

Yes. Trucks usually have a bolt on tailshaft yoke. You'll need a slip yoke for a TH400. The shaft diameter is larger so 700R4, TH350 etc yokes won't fit. Since the tranny is longer, you'll need a custom made driveshaft as well.

and what about the speedo drive cable

If yours is cable drive then you just screw your cable onto it. You may need an adaptor to get the right gearing so your speedo is accurate.

The kit includes a mount for the torque arm, new cross member (TH400 sits back farther), detend switch etc.
