Speedo Gear for T5 and 2.73?

I have a 92 auto that has 2.73 gears. I am going to be putting a 5 speed in from a 91 or 92 camaro, the only thing i am unsure about is how i am going to make the speedometer display the correct speed. Also when i do the swap is there anything i have to change with the computer,ECM? PROM? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Assuming you have a 245/50/16 tire, you will need a 9T drive and 20T driven gear for your T5.

I am sorry that that is all i can help you with. I have no experience with the T5, or swapping it in.

I have also read of GM discountinuing many of the T5 speedo gears.

Good Luck!

Hanlon Motorsport has a website (www.hanlonmotorsports.com) with the speedometer gear calculator -you plug in the differential gear and tire size and it gives you the drive and driven gears for your application.

I finally did the tranny swap and dropped in the engine/T5 this weekend. I still need to cut the hole for the shifter and put back all engine accessories into place. Hopefully by next weekend I can get it started. I had read from the posts that computer chip replacement is not necessary - I will soon find out.
