It's not my TV cable, rebuild or not?

700R4 will not shift until 3,000rpm(yikes), skips 2nd and goes to 3rd(bogs down) and no overdrive, leaking front seal. I put a new TV cable, adjusting it does nothing at all. Should I have it looked at ($70/hour shop rate) and maybe a valve body or governor issue and something wrong later on or just plan on getting a rebuild. If I need a rebuild, do tranny shops replace everything? Are remanufactured better? Is this
tranny shot?
Thanks

You need to e-mail or call me on this 800 7763288 M-S 10-6 PST, I can help you out. The 2-4 band is gone, that is why you only have 1st & 3rd only. Drive this easy if you want this to last for a little while. Best way is to wind out 1st to about 3,300 rpm and shift the lever to 3rd and letting off the gas while it shifts into 3rd then go. This will take the strain off of the 3rd gear clutches due to the big drop in the rpm's. I hope this helps some.
