engine swap

im about to get a 3.4 v6 and wanted to if i had to do anything to the car or can i just drop it in and have no problems doing it i have a 3.1 in it now

Read Keds Article. ITs for a 2.8 though from an 85 car.
Do as he says. Look at everything side by side and duplicate it.
If you keep that in mind I am sure you will be fine.

I'M NO EXPERT
But I wrote that to help all.
GO GET THE GM Performance Parts book to see w/3.4
It's only $6 any GM Dealer.
Read the thread, many times and look at pics, lots of them.
IT's easy & detailed.
Can't say more or less....
BUT you can do it!
I'm doing the 2.8 3.4 long block swap boogie to my 1985 carb'd Federal version S-10 Blazer (w/automatic & AC & 3:42 axle). Trying to find legal headers, too, cheap!
