will 3.4 heads fit on 3.1/will 3.4 cam fit 3.1

I have a 3.1 Camaro and I wanted to do something to make it a little faster and i was reading that 3.4 heads have more meat on them to port/polish and this could be a good junkyard head to get to play with. Also where do i find a cam to go into my motor, how much? also i here there is a guy on here makeing custom hedders, and i was wondering if that would work with my electronic egr. i have a 90 rs and i plan to put a air box on it that came on the 2.8 cars that go between the bumper and radiator the air box has a mass airflow sensor on it and my car dose not have one on it to the best of my knowledge what do i do?

i was reading that 3.4 heads have more meat on them to port/polish

Quoting me outta context ain't good!

What I said, in complete is
3.4 heads have MORE MEAT in the SPRING POCKET AREA to SUPPORT THE Dual Springs used, like in old Z-28/LT-1 days.

2.8-3.1 heads run one spring & it's weak.

Beyond that detail these heads are virtually identical.

3.4 heads/cams certainly fit good.
The 3.4 engine is the prize.
One guy just got his delivered for $910 to his door w/71K miles on it. Quite good!
Lowest so far is $210.
I've paid $800 & $900 for mine.
See below.

remember, that $210 motor also included a scenic 12hr road trip. The things people with more time than money will do

the best part is that it runs!
