The 2.8 heads are pretty decent.

its raining today, so i couldnt do anything under the hood. I decided to remove the valve springs and valves from my heads.

After carefull inspection, these heads are pretty damn decent. The only thing that irks me is the intake valve is just a little to large compared to the exaust. It doesnt need exess porting, although some on the exaust side should at least be done to make up for the smaller valve. The intake runners are definatly large enough to accomodate the valve, it doesnt have any spots where its much smaller than the rest, minimal porting should be all thats required.

Overall, minimal porting, could definatly be done at home. No need to go and send it out to a shop to do it for you.
