The pass side is under there somewhere!

All in all, I think I spent less than $50.
Valve Covers - $20
Gaskets - $16.99 for Fel Pro v/c gaskets, $3.99 for gasket material for plenum
Paint - free when the car was painted...
Stupid External Torx socket - $3.99 + tax... grrr why did GM use those again?

Nice! Now you just need a red anodized oil fill cap

oh, hell, Spectre discontinued them?? Guess my blue anodized fill cap is worth money now? Anyone know of an alternative manufacturer?

Found the part # here, #1732, but Summit says it's discontinued: http://www.carshopinc.com/product/SPE.shtml Don't know how legit that carshopinc place is, found them on a google.com search...

Summit has a few push-in's... but none in colors. See this search: http://store.summitracing.com/defaul...h&part=oil+cap

Does anyone else have that AC bracket to manifold?
I've never seen that & my 1985 never came with that bracket.
Superb WORK!
Is the tapping noise gone for good?

My '87 does. I have to cut and one to fit the new plenum I am building. This is why I exposed the front right bolt mount- so I can attach the brace to at least one of the two bolts.

see, all these people wanting parts off a 2.8 after it's gone . You know Karl, my swap doesn't require that brace, even if I kept the A/C

I just saw today [Tom] on TRUCKS that duplicolor now makes a spray can that simulates anodize coatings. Looks very real and is gas and oil proof.
