The problem is that they haze over. You can buy a new set from various places that are actually still clear. I have a set sitting in my room....along with my new Camaro grill, which goes with the new fender, Gfx, bumper cover, front gfx, etc waiting to go on the car.

Good point. I'd love to find an effective way of dismantling them for polishing... they look much better when they're actually clear.

I took mine apart in very warm water and slow pulling.

a good buffing compound that works well on them is the #m Polishing compound. just keep the pressure light and even
