Which power chip is the best for the 3.1L V6?

Hi group....

I'm trying to decypher the reprogramming my car's computer.

I have a 91 Firebird 3.1L V6 automatic transmission.....
Hooker long tube headers, 2.5" exhaust all the way back, hooker aerochamber exhaust, high flow cat, got rid of the A/C, got rid of all the anti pollution garbage, MSD ignition, 45000V Coil, cold air intake, ......... next year hopefully putting a ZEX system on it.

We tried to DYNO it but hit the stupid speed limiter at only 4000 rpm.... I THINK the guy said she was producing 165 HP with 195 LB of torque..... OK TECH PERFECT GURU TYPES..... I THINK that to be correct so please no emails saying it isn't possible! Ask the new BMW 528 that tried to pass me on the interstate that culd not gain an inch on me! Lets see.... my car $1000 vs 2004 BMW $50K?....... I'll keep my bird (taxes last year ($28)

I drive this car on the street every day and I woud hope that it will be able to pass emmisions test with little or no bafoonary, and without killing the gas mileage totally..... and I only have about $100 to spend on the chip.

So far I have seen the Pontiac Venom module, hypertech, stage 1, stage 2, tempmaster, etc..... all very confusing.....

So which chip gives the best bang for the buck?

What chip gives the most programming options (for future modifications) AND

Is DYNO testing possible if I buy a speed chip? I have a dyno available but how do they adjust the speed chip? Is it something every DYNO place can do or is it propritary info?

I would like to hook my laptop to my computer and program it myself if possible...... always wanted to learn that..... is that possible?

Thanks in advance! See you in the fast lane!

No over the counter chip is going to come close to making your car correct. You need a specail chip.

If you plan on running juice, might I suggest getting the craig motes selecter adaptor, then put several different programs on one chip. So when you plan on hitting the juice, you can put it on the correct prom setting and make it less likely to blow. (setup kinda like jetchips 6 in 1, but with custom settings).

But, all this will cost more then a bill.
