i have a 92 camaro rs 3.1 v6 that the oil pressur sender went out and it didnot start. changed it out and changed the fuse she ran 4 about 15 min. and than had bad missfire and would not start so i changed the coil and the ingn.mod. and now i got fuel on the spark plugs and lighing white spark from the plugs please help
AS SOON AS I TURN THE KEY TO START IT I HEAR THE FUEL PUMP 4 ABOUT 2 SEC. AND WHEN I LET GO OF THE KEY IT RUNS 2 MORE SEC. AND STOPS I FOUND THE TACK WIRE GROUNDED TO METAL AFTER MY IGN.COIL MELTED MAYBE THAT FRIED THE ECM AFTER I CHANGED THE COIL AND IGN.MOD THE CAR RAN GOOD ABOUT 15 MIN. THAN I TURNED IT OFF AND LET IT SIT ABOUT A HOUR THAN I STARTED IT IT HAD A BAD MISSFIRE AN THAN IT DIDNOT START AGIAN
how does your car have a crank positon sensor i know our olds used to have one but my 3.1 does not have one it has a scale. a crank position sensor should be used on DIS cars i believe.
Mark a spot on the dist and block where it sits then start playing with it advance and retard see what happens and if it does not work you can awlays go back to the spot that you marked.

I was going to suggest the same.
Although I doubt it will do much. It should either run or not run if it's the timing... Or at least run ****ty, but consistently the same still... Not "every once in awhile" like it does.
