A 3.8 4th gen V6 Ques.

Ok, I got a L03 92 RS now and college is around the corner. I'm getting about 13.5-14mpg now with the RS and I think I might get sort-of a beater V6 4th gen just to get around in and keep the already high-miles off the RS but more importantly SAVE ON GAS!! So what kinda mpg would I be getting out of the 3.8? My dad claims he gets 24-30 out of his 00' grand prix.

You'r looking at a FWD 3800 II motor, so it depends on the year 4th gen that you get. The newer it is, the better the milage, but you'll mot likely see about what you're getting 5.0L.

Why for that kind of difference, why not just drive the '92. Milage doesn't matter anymore since it's not worth anything as a 25th Heritage that's been moderatly modified. Especially since you have deleted the AIR system. Now you can't even sell it to anyone that gets a visual inspection as part of their smog check.

He could sell it if he lived in NH, not sure about other states but when you sell a car here it's as is. Could be superglue in the oil and it doesn't matter.

Right, but what I'm saying is that the fact that it's been modified reduces the value of the fact that it's 25th ann. packaged. Once you start messing with something that is supposed to be special edition, it screws up the resale value for that package.
