as far as i know it doesnt make a diffrence, they all bolt up the same...im using pf an e headers on my 3400 swap and i bought them for my 3.1 a few years ago
thanks that means i can run pacesetter headers then i was waiting for somebody with the swap to respond so i kno to buy headers or not. Anybody got any torque converter info for me?
talk to some different tq converter companies, you have to tell them that you have the 60degree v6. the converters are smaller and built differently than v8 stuff. but, they are available!
Haven't seen many offerings around for torque converters for the V6 ...
Just this one from Precision Industries, and information is very vague on their website ... Precision Industries - Vigilante Torque Converters
You gotta love that color ... good thing a torque converter isn't in plain sight ...
i got mine off of ebay...the company's name is roadrunner converters. they are out of arizona, i think.

tcui makes converters for the 60*v6 trans, i just spoke with somone from over there about getting a 3000+ stall verter for the rs for the turbo motor,B&m also makes converters for the 60* v6 trans.
edit btw stay under 2500 stall with the na motor, unless ur really bringing the comp ratio up,and ur really using a cam that makes its power up high
do you mean tci? also that b&m torque converter wont work for a 60 degree v6 and i havent seen a b&m that does fit 60 degree v6 all v8 or 90 degree v6 converters.
yes "tci" dam typos lol just goto there website and use the recomendation slip and thy will tell u the best converter for ur setup,or u can give them a call

Yikes! That must look funky under a blacklight!
Yeah I also thought TCI made one too. If you ask on the trans board, someone there might know. There used to be a guy on there named transfixleo, he was a tranny tech who rebuilt his v6's tranny with all the hi-po stuff AND a performance torque convertor. Or just do a search on his username (transfixleo) and you might find a message or two about it.
