Oh man. THose flowsheets that say 2.8/3.1 are gen 2 aluminum heads. I don't have any iron heads to flow. The 3100 heads are actually gen 3 but the early style. The 3400 heads are the most recent before gen 4 came out.

You can check the intake flow numbers for the manifolds as well. I need to get a set of stock gen 2 aluminum head manifolds to flow those heads as well. I need a set of iron heads and manifolds to really compare all the numbers.

drdave, did you ever get a good run on the road yet?

Would it be possible for you to flow check the base manifold of a 2.8 tbi? I have questions as to what this will flow cause I've always wondered about doing the ported TBI intake with a polished 4.3 TB.

Any way to sticky this thread? I think its important enough not to loose.

i havent had it out since that first time. im having some issues with it not wanting to start intermittently. i think i have a problem w/ the ICM, but ive gotta get ahold of a friends GM manual for some testing. and now that its snowing again, it may not be out for a while.
as far as flowing anything else, i doubt id be able to anymore. ive finished that class and the teacher in charge of all that stuff is kind of a _______ (insert your favorite here).

Lame. Well, I just found a site that "claims" you can get 160HP out of a 2.8 with the TBI intake and 4.3 TB. I think I'm going to dyno my car as is, and then do the swap to see what changed. I'll post progress.

Thanks again for all the work you put in for the MPFI stuff!
