2.8L V6 MPFI needs some more pep

Hey you all have probably heard this by now but my V6 is a little poochy...
needs some more get up and go.

Its in an 86 bird SE with a borg warner 5 speed tranny. Its a fun car to drive but i want to have some more power.

If it helps my ac doesnt work and my smog pump is bypassed. Could i put delete pullies on and notice a differance. I have stock intake aswell.

Thanks in advance

No, you won't notice a difference except more room in the engine bay.
