My buddy has a 92 RS long story short stumbles on acc. idle stals, pops in the intake. Replaced cap, rotor, plugs, wires, did the unplug sensors, see what happens. The only thing that didn't change anything was the IAC valve. I'm pretty sure it's the IAC it's on top of the throtle body. ANY SUGESSTIONS FELLOWS?
get a timing light clip the power lines to the batt. spark plug end to the #1 plug wire as close to the end as you can. find the pointer, should be above the crank pulley, disconnect the white/brown wire along side the passenger fender. start the engine and point the light at the pointer. watch for the mark to line up witht the pointer.
i'll try that next is there anything u can do to read the check engine light codes it is on I know u have to ground the term. but how? and does the dash lights blinck the codes or what?
