Car: 1984 Camaro, 1986 Camaro Engine: 5.7L (350 cu) V8 and 2.8L V6 Transmission: Automatic, Manual not gonna specify | Fan doesn't want to run and a transmission problem... Help? Boy where to start, I have a 1986 Camaro 2.8L V6 (although we are not really sure about the 2.8L cause it seems a little too big for it so might be a 3.1L) first it had the problem of having no power at all, you would go 35Mph and after a sec it would die and not start anymore... that problem is solved it was the catalytic converter -.- I took it out and straight pipe it xD I don't have any business in CA anyway and in my state it is not illegal to not have it.
Now the fan doesn't want to run, I replaced the coolant sensor. No luck still doesn't want to turn on. When you ground the diagnostic terminal (B, A) the fan will kick on @.@
Now for the transmission (it's a 5 speed manual) When you try to shift gears the car stalls and jumps (the gears don't grind)... I tried several times, start it back up and take off no luck... But when I backed out the car out of the garage it didn't... Supposedly the clutch has been replaced,...
Any ideas on my problems | | | |
