pickup coil question

I have a 91 camaro with a 3.1, do i have to remove and dissasemble the distributor to change the pickup coil? Thanks in advance.

It's easy, I did it. All these V6 cars which now range in age from 17 to 27 years old, either have had a distributor rebuild or need to have one. Use all factory stuff. Along with new plugs and wires it will restore your ignition system to factory new condition. Here's a good thread on rebuilding your distributor from back in the day.
