emissions delete help

well i found out here in va they dont really check for emissions, so im gona remove it. its a 1984 camaro v6 2.8L backed with a t-5 5 speed. now my question is what do i have to do? i now i remove the smog pump and a lot of the vaccum things go away, but i need more details. will the computer tho a code? do i need to replace the carb? the disturber? all help is welcomed and thank you.

Well smog pump would be a great thing to get rid of. I mean the rest can stay. now for the computer to throw a code possible. Not a clue though. Depends what you wanting. If you go carb then yes you will need new distributor ect.... but again not an expert on smog pumps anything electrical on the car I hate :P. So basically remove things that are not not needed. but IMO just leave it be. Unless your going to a bigger motor. Doesn't hurt having that stuff on there.
