good price for a 3.1?

I can pick up a 3.1 from a 92 rs for $200. They guy SAYS it was running when the car was wrecked. It comes with all the bolt on parts, including the compressor and the alternator.

not sure about how many miles the car had on it before it was wrecked, i'm trying to find that out..

I'd love to see if he happens to have the tranny too...

worth it, or forget it?

the $200 is just for the engine... not the entire car. He said the car had about 50-60K miles when it was wrecked

Re: good price for a 3.1?

If its running, $200 isn't bad. I thought I was going to get my hands on one for $200 a while back...then the guy wouldn't ever call me back.

I think i'm going to hold off on this one.. it's tempting, but if it's not a slam dunk, I'll just wait

I don't need the engine right now. Someday if I do, I think I'll go for the sure thing and get a 3.4.
