I'm sure I'm not the only V6 guy on here who is missing their Service Parts ID label that is SUPPOSED to be either inside the console door or the door to the rear glove box. I'm trying to put mine together so I can get a replacement from an aftermarket supplier (since GM saw it fit to destroy most of the pre-90 data sheets). Does anyone here with a pre-90 V6 still have their sticker? I'm trying to figure out the codes for the VSS and gears, and the generic code for the rear axle. I can get the spring codes off of my spring labels (if the rears still have theirs, I don't remember if they do or not), but that still leaves the VSS, gears, and the rear axle. Most of the pics I've seen in the History/Restoration forum are for post-90 V8 TransAm's and GTA's...

Project Raven is on hold... She's a body shell with a rather large collection of parts. 1987 Pontiac Firebird, T-top, 1991 VIN T engine, getting MegaSquirted. 85 T-5 5-Speed manual trans. Hybrid 3100 V6 swap nearly complete, too much body work to do first . Restomod in progress. So many parts to replace, so little money .
Can you clarify some of the codes? The 2 codes after AAA are a little fuzzy.
No I didn't tear it out haha. It had actually fell off and I was afraid it would accidentally get thrown away so it's now in a safer place. The codes after AAA are AK1 and AR9.

Some double-sided tape will fix that right up. Do you have the optional GTA interior?
Well I don't know what that is for sure but I highly doubt it. My car is about as basic as it gets. No power locks, power windows or hatch release. Nothing but a speedo, fuel gauge and dummy lights in the cluster. About the only options I think it came with are AC and a radio with cassette player and neither of those worked by the time I got it .
