Code 43 on a 1992 RS V6

I am wondering what this code means.... the generic book that came with the scanner said EST. If that is correct any ideas ??? The car keeps dying then restarts no problem. Does it every couple of miles. Thanks for any info......

Either the ECM, chip, or the knock sensor or wire down by the starter have crapped out. You need to disconnect the battery to replace the sensor because of the proximity to the solenoid and the positive battery cable. Replace the $40 sensor first.

Only if you take the radiator cap off. I lost maybe an ounce or 2 when I did mine last year. The cap and the rest of the system creates a vacuum that holds the flow back (similar to keeping the brake fluid cap on the master cylinder when you gravity bleed the brakes... doesn't work).
