Car: 1992 Chevrolet Camaro Engine: 3.1 V6, MFI | 1992 Camaro Help Hi my name is Nathan, I’m 17 years old, and I have a 1992 Camaro RS, V6 3.1 liter MFI There been something wrong with it for a while now and do to the money we have been putting in to it my parents are about ready to sell it. So I could really need the help. So here’s the problem. It started about 3 weeks ago. When the car gets hot and I turn the car off It won’t start. Then once I seem to get it started it’s idles high RPMS, 2,000 – 2,500. And I now that not right because when I got the car it would idle at about 700 RPMS in park. Some other problems that I think that are related are: It chugs when I’m going slow through a neighborhood and the RPS jump around, Also when I pull in to my drive way it just dies, for now reason. When I drive it somewhere and then I turn off the car I won’t starts and I have to wait for the car to cool down. And here is a list of all the thing that I have replaced: Distributor Cap & Rotor Ignition Module EGR Coolant Temperature Senor Throttle Position Sensor Idle Air Control Motor Coil Alternator Water pump So if someone could help me out so I can keep my car that would be great Thank you P.S. Spellings not the best so done comment on it. thanks | | | |
