I went to get on the interstate and it seemed like it took forever to hit 60. The car does this every now and then so its nothing new, it just gets on my nerves. I just got K&Ns a couple weeks ago so I know its not clogged air filters. Anyone know why it did that today. It felt like it took 15 seconds to hit 60 rather than 10.4.

1990ish Vette (never should have been dumb enough to race a vette in the V6)
Late model ZX2, five speed (3 friggin stoplights in a row)
Oh yeah, 1 thing I forgot. NO codes flashed when it was acting sluggish. The only code I've been getting lately is a 13 and that has to do w/ O2 sensor.
How often should you change the fuel filter. I put a new one on last February. It has about 12k miles on it. BTW I took my car back out tonight and it didn't feel sluggish anymore. I think the 2.8 might just be like that, sluggish sometimes for no reason and run perfect on other days. When I get back on the interstate tommorow I'll see how it goes.
If your fuel filter has only 12k miles on it, its perfectly fine. As a rule, a fuel filter is about a once-every-30k item, and even that is not overly necessary. Dealers normally do them every 50k miles.
When I changed mine back in the spring with about 40k on it, it was perfectly fine, with very little residue. The filters they put on gas pumps these days work just fine, and will eliminate most any dirt.

Hmm... if I were you - and I know your spark plugs are only a year old - I'd check everything. EGR, PCV, cap, rotor, spark plugs, spark plug wires, O2 sensor, fuel filter, timing.
If, after checking/ adjusting/ replacing all that the car doesn't feel better (worked for me), check your MAF.
