Anyone looked into this? I haven't researched this in a while. Anyone up on it?

Im swapping a turbo buick into my RS. But yea talk to him. Number 1 thing you will need is a 86 or 87 GN drivetrain.

in Cali the engine has to be the same year of the car or newer. since there was the '89 Turbo TA I think I can do it legally if I piece the whole thing together.

Some of the big Buick guys like Kenny Duttweiler, Fred Vetter(Dynotech) and Jimmy D.of Quarter Mile performance have done this swaps. They could answer some questions. I don't have the numbers with me now but can try to get them.

hey tas u wont have any problems..our referee is the same. Basically i was told they are handling the turbo engines differently..in CA they will only let them slide if they are going into the same year (89) and the same sub company (pontiac)
