gather up another 50 bucks and get a nice camshaft. But that's just what I'm waiting to do after I paint my car.

Well, I could, but then I'd also have to replace all those gaskets, and put the work into it. I mean, sure the cam is only $250, but then you have to worry about what goes along w/ the cam change. Plus when I get ready to do that, I want to replace my timing chain and get my heads worked on.

Ya asked fer my advice so here it is:

WAIT on the cam.... Goto the boneyard and get yerself some heads, get an intake, get a extra TB and send it to be reworked to flo better, get the cam and and some roller tip rockers..... THEN do the cam... Ya have to pull the intake and drain the engine when ya do the cam, might as well remove the heads when ya do that, so then install the cam, the reworked heads, reworked intake, reworked TB, ya will have to relash yer rockers anyways so throw in a new set of roller tips.... Vola..... Why do the work 2 times????

For now, go get this and in this order....

The girl something nice....

This ensures ya can have her around AND get to play with yer car too

Underdrive pullies, i just installed a race set, the engine charges at 1100 rpm... Theres a consistant diff on the stopwatch i then came home and replaced the intakes.... haven't timed it yet but i can tell theres a diff in throttle response for the better, the car cruises at 100 rpm lower too, not sure on power... will time it tomorrow...

Hope this helps
