| A 1996 3.8 5-speed supercharged camaro handed me my a$$ today
| Today as i was comming home from work. i came upon a black 1996 3.8 camaro that had a supercharged sticker on the back hatch window and a hardwood cowl hood i believe with ss rims. as i went by he punched it and took off about 2 car lenghts ahead of me. I was in my 1991 3.1 RS by the way. I really didnt want to race him but i thought what the heck does it matter anyway. I thought he had a v8 cause it sounded bad like a borla or something to that nature. Well a red light was comming up and he just stopped on green and i caught up as it turned yellow then red. he was revving his engine and i was just sitting there ready to punch it....lol.....i dont really race that much. anyway the light turns green and i floor it and he does 2. He gets a big jump on me and i never catch up i let off at 65 mph and he had to be doing 110-120. He beat me by i would say like 11-12 car lengths. I flash my lights at him and he pulls into the burger king parking lot ahead. I pull in and get out. He looks to be about 25 or so. Im 19......I ask him what the HeII he has under that hood and he says a v6. I say what kind of v6..he says a 3.8 supercharged one. I had never seen a 3.8 supercharged before so he poped the hood to let me look at it. It looked killer. he said he had the heads ported and all kinds of other stuff. He told me he could hang with a viper but he dont really push his car that much except mostly on mustangs LOL. well i left and went home but ill never forget that v6 camaro. It was bad as hell :-)....maybe if i would had my iroc it would have not been as bad | | | |
