WELCOME aboard 87 camaro.
I'm getting my exhalust done next week. Its going to be simple, just run pipes from the manifols, then strait to the back with a good set of mufflers.BTW i'm putting ground effects on my car,I hate the look of the 85 SC nose, and the non existing gfx.The only reason I bought the car was a great deal only $450,great conditioned int.It will be hard to get the rockers panels in,gotta strip the gfx support bracket off of a TBONED 87 IROC,and 89 RS,and weld them onto my rocker panels. Two weeks from now my baby will be painted, black with two silver metalic stripes.

I bought my Camaro for $300.00 and it only has light body damage. Does anyone know where I can get cheap window louvers?

My Camaro is a 1985 Sport Coupe w/ black paint. I am putting ground effects on it eventually, and I would like an opinion on something. On a Black Camaro, would the Ground effects look good in Gold?

Some of the Z28 were black with gold GFX, they looked fine.

Wow there's a lot of posts in here... You all may wonder why I read the V6 columns... I would prefer a V6 myself for the fuel economy but stock, the v8 is much more potent, anyhow I just thought I'd put in my two cents about friends who diss new cars... I used to drive a Honda civic wagon, then I went to a CRX and my friend (who doesn't have a car) says well it only has two seats and it's a little slow (10 sec 0-60)... so then I bought my V8 firebird and he says "well I would have bought a porsche or a miata" two cars completely out of the price range I was looking at... ($2000) I really could care less and if you can make your car kick *** that's all that's important... If you want to have fun, swap in a 3.4L V6 with turbo and have some fun with your friend... newer v6 camaro engines are just as potent as late 80's v8's so that would in fact make your car much more competitive...

Future plans:
New Paint - take out two small rust holes
Reupholster the ceiling (bare foam now)
Highflow Cat-back exhaust
Single 12" Subwoofer... don't need to break windows
