Squeaking!!!! Please help me fix it!

Ok, I'm pretty sure the squeaking has to do with the tension of the belt. But from what I've been told, you can't tighten the belt. Because I have a belt tension thing ( I don't know what it's called, it's the thing you twist to loosen the belt) And that thing should have enough tension so the belt doesn't slip. And at first when I start the car it doesn't squeak but when it warms up it starts to squeak, and sometimes afterward it stops, and comes back and it really annoys me. This is really bad especially when I have women in the car! Do I need a new belt tension thing? I'm pretty sure it's not the belt because I have checked it and there aren't any missing teeth and it all looks really good. Should I take it to a mechanic and have him fix it?

Try that spray can belt dressing stuff but I'm willing to bet you need a new belt anyhow. It could be still streched even though it looks ok.

Mine is doing the same thing, and i tried the belt dressing and it worked for like two min. .Then it just wore off. And my belt isn't bad because just replaced it when the guy put the new motor in.
