my friend saw a bunch of fieros in a scrap yard, and i was wondering if there is a way to hook up the turbo from a 2.8 fiero on my 2.8.

"building up a 2.8 is like polishing a turd."
Hey man let me let you in on a secret, the fieros use the same motor as the firebirds and camaros, so you can use the turbo, the only problem your going to run into is adapting your exhaust manifold. everything else should fit perfectly.

Actually the entire setup will need to be custom fabbed.
hey but couldn't you just get headers and adapt them to the turbo, headers need a costume ypipe anyways so y not do it then, also I think our cars would also need a intercooler along with a turbo. Were there turbo fieros from the factory because I know a junkyard with at least 20 Fieros in it.

True!
There were a few 4banger turbo fiero's but these are VERY rare. You would have the same odd's of finding one of the turbo fieros as finding a TTA.
But if you were to find a 2.8 witha turbo snag it as quickly as possible along with the exh manifolds and check the ecm to see if it has been upgraded to compensate for the boost.

The manifolds would do very little for us. They are east-west engines(were North-South). They are designed different. They have the room to mount the turbo right there beside the engine.
The comp is a no biggie to mod, Custom Chip. You give it new parameters and everything works great.
