| My owning this car started out as an attempt to hit on this girl... Bought the car off a good looking Air Force chick while I was stationed in Germany back in 2004 (I know this has nothing to do with the car...but this girl was beautiful...Syrian decent...big boobs...oh man). Gave her about $300 for it..she gave me an 86 T/A body (with the ugliest mint green paint...), a newly rebuilt 700R4, and a bunch of boxes with what was left of the 305 TPI. Block was shot. Someone who was "fixing" the car for her took the heads off then left the hood open...for a couple of weeks. Long story short; I rebuilt the engine (no cold start switch so never ran it), shipped the car to Texas (where I was moving to), got the car to my new house, installed the CSS and started her up and broke in the cam. That was Feb 05...and 4000 miles ago... The red 92 RS was my daily driver in Germany. Gave $300 for it with a bad knock...but it still ran. Soldit for $2800 with a new engine a little over 18 months later. |
