GMZombie's 1989 Chevy Camaro RS
Ok heres the story on the 3 Camaros. First off i got the 91 t top about a few years ago for a decent price. I knew that the motor had to be replaced as it smoked alot...good riddens to the 305 anyways. after i got my 350 put in the car i had some random problems like getting the fuel pump to work with a carb? well i didnt know at the time that there was a knock sensor that would relay info to the pump to make it work. long story short i got it working by wiring the pump to start with ignition. cool. anyways drove the car for about a year total as after the first few months it was winter so i put up the car the next summer i had my accident and i was in a wheelchair for 6 months and couldnt drive well till the next summer. after that happened it sat and i started it and whatnot till i could drive again. I drove it for about 4 months and some dumb azz kid hit me in the front as i was going around the bank after gettingm y money to pay some bills. he was cutting a light. long story that is how the car is today from the 2 pics of it. it does drive straight just needs some work. now to the 84 which i bought one day after seeing it in the paper to get the parts for my 91. yea i knew they were different but i wanted it running. went up and bought the car for a great deal and brought it home. After that i started to take off the parts of the front end. as you see it in the pic that is how far i got. i have all the parts still but that brings us to my New Love my Convertible. My buddy came over and said i seen a vert for sale out by my dads, way out in BFE. I said i already have my camaro stuff but he insisted on goin out to see it. I went out there and looked at it. door wasent closed and the driver side door handles inside and out were broke. Had some flat tires and it looked like it was hit at one time in the front...enough to make the plastic look bad. i didnt car that hood told t he story. i called up the guy and he told me 700 dollars for the car. i said i wold get back to him. talked to a few people and from there on it is how it is i have it now. The kid didnt know how to put in a transmission...he was putting a 350 turbo in it and didnt have any of the correct parts...luckly i had all of them from my 91 which i used since the R4 used a different crossmember too. all in all i got a great deal on the cars but 2 of them have to go. i need a space for my vert before it gets too cold.
