Car: 1987 T-Top LG4 Trans Am.
Engine-355: Custom built Jet Performance Q-Jet carb, Headman Shorties, American Thunder cat back-no-cat, Wieand Stealth 2 plane intake, Comp 282S cam, Howards Direct Lube solid lifters, 1.6 aluminum roller rockers .528 total lift, 2.02/1.60 stainless valves, 7/16 studs, guide plates, 1.44 dual valve springs, Speed Pro Hyper pistons .125 dome coated skirts 9.4 to 1 compression, and PM rods. Check out my home made SS power steering bracket that I hacked together out of some scrap at work one day.
Transmission: TH700R4 rebuilt myself with Dad's supervision using Art Carr hard parts, 5 gear planets, 2800 stall lock up TC, B-Car Fix, .500 boost valve, Corvette servo, B&M Shift Kit, I converted the AC condenser into a tranny cooler, and I wired the lock-up myself instead of paying through the nose for a switch and 10 foot of wire.
Rear End: Rebuilt 26 spline 10 Bolt rear (converted it to 28 spline), with Richmond 3:73's, Jeg's support cover, Moser axles, and a Torsen differential.
Suspension: F-41, Edelbrock strut tower brace, wonder bar, Comp Eng SFC's, 36mm front sway bar, 26mm rear sway bar, WS6 Formula wheels, stock lca's that I boxed in myself, and a set of UMI bolt in control arm lowering brackets.
Body: Not done yet. DOH!! My brother hooked me up with a guy that does awesome body work and he is now painting the car (only charging me $900 plus paint). Should be done by May of 2007. | |
