player 88's 1988 Chevrolet Camaro IROC
An Ex-players R7U car = 1LE. Has been a race car all of it's life.. raced in the GM Players series in Canada and then went on to IMSA Firestone Firehawk series. It won it's class at Sebring one year.

Times: personal best on Saturady of a 1:44 on the big track at Mosport

For the tech heads here is my new motor:

4 bolt main block, same block-
cast crank, .010,
Probe forged pistons- flat top valve reliefs only.
Probe ultra light 6.0 inch rods, with ARP 9310 bolts.
Total seal rings, Sealed power HV oil pump w/3/4" pickup, Canton 244T RR oil pan with 3/4pick up.
Clevite 77H bearings,
Comp cams CS XR294HR-10 , p/n 08-443-8 hyd roller, gross lift.
Int. 540, ex, .562, duration @ .050 int. 242, ex. 248
Lobe seperation 110 deg.
Nice lope at idle.
World product S/R torquer heads, 2.02/1.8, 76 CC cahmbers, 9.3:1 compression ratio, Manley springs and retainers, screw in studs, guide plates, roller rockers, etc.
Edelbrock torker II intake,
Holley HP 750 DP. 82 primaries and 83 secondaries
Hedman headers in to single y pipe. into a single 3 inch SS exhaust, no Cat only a flow master muffler. tracks have noise limits these days.
MSD billet distributor, 6AL box and SS coil.

I still need some dyno time to fine tune it. But it pulls like a frieght train, right runs out of steam at about 6400 RPM.

Chassis, Koni sports front and rear, 1000lbs prings in front, 200 lbs in rear, with weight jackers, stock 1LE bars front and rear, granetelli LCA mounts, Tubluar aluminum. adjustable panhard rod and LCAs. Jegs, adjustable Panhard bar mount, front strut brace.

9 bolt, posi with extension for more fluid capacity. 3.45 gears, WC T-5 trans.

Full Roll cage, gutted interior, fire extingusher, radio, Kirkey intermediate aluminum seat etc.
