maroon88iroc's 1988 chevrolet iroc camro
heres my baby. ive got alot of time and money into this car. im happy with how it is coming along but it is far from done. im working on building up a 350 for it and then it will be painted. i dont have any new #'s with the car but with just the flowmaster catback and hypertech chip it ran a 15.3 @88 mph. lol that is a 305 tpi though these things arent the high and mighty lol. but hopefully i can get it really going soon. mw66nova is helping me along with the motor and parts i will run and hopefully he'll help me assemble it.

>>exterior wise the car has 17x8 iroc replica wheels they are tripple chrome plated... lots of bling. they look nice though. i also have recessed the fog lights behind the grill. i did the widemouth mod. all new lights on the front of the car headlights high beams parking lights fogs. i made my own side markers. 15% tint all the way around. i should have went with 5% though. thats about it though. when i get it painted the antenna will be shaved and im thinking about putting some flush door handles on the car. and hopefully getting a ss hood or 2-4" cowl and 5" spoiler but we'll see. im hopefully going to pick up those chrome iroc-z badges.

>>interior wise i have added an overhead console, changed all the dash lights to red, painted the gauge bezel red, B&M megashifter, dual gauge pod, next interior mods will be stand alone shift light and billet steering wheel.

>>performance wise... well my 305 tpi motor got hydrolocked when i was stuck in the rain trying to get home. so i encourage everyone be careful if you have gutted the airbox on your car. right now though i am building a pretty stout but mild 350. it is a 010 4 bolt main block. it came out of our 67 camaro but we are going ls1 with it. on the 350 i have comp cams xe268, new flat tappet lifters, brand new GM performance parts crate motor heads (come on the 300-350 horse power crate motors) new rear main seal, new flexplate, oil pan, holley street dominator intake, holley 650 double pumper, mallory 3 port regulator, accell billet distributor, dacco 2300-2500 lockup converter, trans cooler, fuel pressure gauge, dual electric fans, K&N 3" air filter and summit chrome air cleaner assembly, edelbrock TES headers and y-pipe 3" cutout and 3" flowmaster catback, all new poly bushings everywhere, serpentine belt setup, adj panhard rod, spohn LCA relocation brackets, motive 3.42 gears or GM 3.73's have both but still undecided on which to run.

>>audio wise i have 2 10" kicker cvr's a profile 2000 watt amplifier. i did the custom install myself. i hid all the wires. i got the box from my uncle for free. he wasnt going to use it in his camaro so he gave it to me. i have a sony cdx-m800 cd player that i really like. i have pioneer 4x6's and pyle 6x9's lol on the pyles but i havent upgraded yet. i have bass blockers on all 4 speakers so the subs are the only things putting out bass. i also just got a kicker 12" solobaric sub to mess around with. this thing pounds. i paid $60 for it from a friend and it came with a cracked box for two of these subs i cut the box down for just the one sub and it sounds great it gets really loud.

88_350_TPI beautiful IROC...my brother had an 89 that color, but my dad plowed it into a mail jeep. Good luck with the 350 swap. 02-22-2007
