| WillSpeedy's 1988 Camaro Iroc Convertible | |||
| Project "BLACK DIAMOND"or"KISSMARO" Right now she is a stock 1988 iroc convertible all original with 226000kms, lots of rust, 305 TPI, Auto, and 2.73 posi. I'm hoping to tear her down to bare metal next winter and start the resto on the body. New front fenders, hood, and maybe door skins. Shaving off the door molding and blending the front fenders to the nose, maybe(I hate that seam). Then a wicked paint job, I haven't deceided on yet but I'm sure flames will be a part of it. Then redo the engine & suspention. Then replacing them with a 383 TPI, 700Raptor, Beef up the 10 bolt, and Spohn suspention. Hoping for high 12's with drag radials. While adding a chrome roll bar, some kind of 17" wheels (chrome), new seats, gauges, and center console. I kind of like the dash. Back seats will be gone in favor of a sub box of some sort or storage maybe. So I can use the trunk for the battery and some nitrous maybe. Or neither and some golf clubs instead. Untill then I will drop the top and cruise when the weather permits. |
