| Interesting story about this car, I got it from my ex-girlfriend's grandma's neighbor, he had it on his property since 96' and finally he got in trouble for it and had to get it off his property or get fined. i got the car and motor for 300 bucks. I've Had Problem after problem trying to get this car on the road, sometimes this project feels hopeless to the point I want to drive it off a cliff, but I keep working at it. *1983 Chevrolet Camaro Sports Coupe - $300 *American Racing Rims & street/strip tires - $50 1988 5.7L L05 350 V8 -Block Bored .030 over -Flat Top Pistons -Comp Cams Thumpr Cam -Crane Gold Full Roller Rockers -Proform Noisy Gear Drive -Hooker Ceramic Coated Shorty Headers -Hooker Y-pipe Accel Style HEI Distributor Holley 650cfm Electric Choke Vacuum Secondaries Summit Dual Plane Intake Manifold Stock Style Serpentine Setup Carter Mechanical Fuel Pump Stock 700r4 Transmission Stock 3.08 Non-Posi Gears Stock Stall Converter B & M Megashifter This is the 2nd enging I'm putting in the car, seized up the first one, also the 2nd transmission, didn't find out the trans was bad until after I installed it. I'm being very careful with this next engine, everything is going good now, hoping to have it driveable by thanksgiving, we'll see how that goes.
