| This is my 87 GTA. I bought it when I was 14. I paid $900 for it and now have a lot more in it. (3rd Pic is the day we got it) The car was junk!! I got all new interior..what I could find..new carpet..headlinder, recoverd the seats..ect. I painted it when I was 15 and now 19 I know a lot more about painting so its time to redo it. For looks.. It has a ram air hood. Other than that it looks like a stock bright red 87 GTA! Stock GTA Wheels..love them..cant get rid of them! I am currently redoing the the motor/trans also. Im building a stroked small block. The car has been my daily driver since I was 16 and had a little bit of Nitrous on it. We got it in the high 12s on spray and now its time for better numbers! More pics will be up soon! This build should be a 2 year thing..I want it done right and to look great. I enjoy taking this car to car shows and racing my buddys on a friday night..but they dont know what will hit them when its done! The car is all apart. Geting ready for paint and its geting a Comp Engineeing 6/8 Point Cage IDK what its going to look like..(Last Pic) This is whats done so far.. Engine: SBC 389 CID All Forged Eagle Rotating Assembly 11.8:1 Comp Cam 260/262 .630 R106 Brodix Track Heads Crower Rockers 1.5/1.6s Crower Lifters PJ Gear Drive Comp cams pushrods Wieand Team G Intake Demon Carb Dynod at 489 on 93 Octaine Nitrous will back on it after a while.. Tranny: TCI TH400 Reverse Valve Body 3500 Stall Hust Shifter Rear: Moser 9in 3:70s Spohn Adj. Torque Arm with Th400 Crossmember BMR Adj. trailing Arms/LCAs BMR Adj. Panhard bar BMR Sub Frame Con. Exhaust..IDK yet. Havent got that far. Long tubes for sure..Prob the ones from Hawks with a y pipe and a For sure on the GMMG mufflers. |
