This is my 1986 Camaro Z-28, i bought it the first weekend of september 2006, when i got the car, interior was pretty nasty, even though i managed to save the seats(they had no rips or tears or classic camaro cigarette burns!) theystill cleaned up nice, but everything else is done. someone managed to spill about 3 cans of dr. pepper inside the car and it was on everything. found a parts car which im taking the interior out of(mint carpet, dashpad, door panels, all interior plastics and center console) all of which is going in my car, body is completely rust free, and appears to have never been hit. some of my plans include UMI tubular LCA's, tubular panhard bar, and subframe connectors. im building a 355 SBC next spring, GM steel crank .010 under, LT1/LT4 powdered metal rods, speed pro 0.030 over hyperuetectic pistons, comp cams k-kit(around .480" of lift) GM "441" heads, manley 1.94/1.50 SS valves, comp cams pro magnum steel roller rocker arms, fel pro gaskets, ARP hardware, edelbrock "torker" aluminum intake, edelbrock elite series valve covers ad air cleaner. for the transmission im going to rebuild the stock 700r4, put a transgo shift kit in it, 2500 RPM stall converter. bought an aluminum driveshaft, and a safety loop. going to replace all suspension, steering and brakes(car been sitting for 13 years) and then sometime in the future i want to paint it.     | |
