so far Ive sanded all the surface rust off, filled all the dents, replaced brake lines, replaced the drivers side headlight motor, replaced the IAC, and replaced all the vaccum hoses, replaced the drivers seatbelt, but now the passengers side seatbelt is starting to go.
Update: got my Trans Am all in primer, and hopefully Ill be able to paint it next school year. Also, Ive given up on 3rdgen seat belts so I swapped in some 4th gen ones, pretty easy bolt in if your considering it. Also, Ive done my door pins and bushings. I now have also replaced my rusted out T-Top bar with a better one that I repainted, while I had it out I ripped out the old weatherstripping, fixed the rust under the weather striping and put new GM seals on there. Also I replaced my dashpad, and got a working power antenna motor. Not 100% when paints coming, but I might spray it in my parents garage over winter break along with my Dad's 91 RS.
the bad: while doing the 4th gen belt swap I found out both my rear floor pans have a little rust issue, so Ill be fixing that next year. Also, I did my pins&bushings the cheap way (copper for bushing, weld in old pin) and one of my pins popped out, and I dont have access to a welder over the summer.
Overall, I think Ive done some pretty good work for a 15 year old so far.
hey nice t/a but i dont know a hole lop about fuel injection but could ur problem be some sort of of problem like to rich or too lean fuel mixture or too much or to little air into the throttle body
